Towing

Depending on the vehicle configuration, the towing capacity can vary. The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude has a max towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. This is with the 3.6L V6 engine which is the standard engine offered with these vehicles.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has the same towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. 

Many Jeep Grand Cherokees have a maximum towing capacity of 7,200 pounds when properly equipped. 

But for the Altitude and Limited models with the V6 engine, the towing capacity is 6,200 pounds.

Seating – Interior space

Rear-wheel drive is standard with the option for 4×4. 

Fuel economy

Both the Jeep Altitude and Jeep Limited have the same fuel economy and tank capacity. Both vehicles will hold 23 gallons of gasoline and are tested to get 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG for highway driving.

Curb weight

Although the max towing weight of these vehicles is the same at 6,200 pounds, the curb weight is slightly different. 

The Jeep Altitude weighs 4,238 pounds and the Limited weighs 4,426 pounds. Therefore the Limited weighs 188 pounds more.
